接下來在第八句的部分:

一開始我被開頭的About所誤導以為是某種修飾用介系詞片語,但後來看到後面的be動詞(is),所以我認為這句的主詞可能是About the closest any research has come to supporting the tiredness theory
但在此處我有疑問,About the closest any research has come to supporting the tiredness theory是介系詞片語當主詞用
但片語一般來說應該是不包含主詞及動詞才對,但這句about看起來像是有主動詞 the closest any research/ has come?
至於be動詞(is)後面一長串以不定詞to開頭的
to confirm that adults yawn more often on weekdays than on weekends, and that school children yawn more frequently in their first year at primary school than they do in kindergarten.
是不定詞片語當作be動詞(is)的補語用?
to confirm that adults… that名詞子句在此處也是當作補語的功能?
而在後面,以對等連接詞and所連接的that school children….也是當作補語的功能(省略to confirm)? 謝謝。
